Security Engineering Intern

Job Description:

About the Role

* Recognize, adopt, and instill the best practices in security engineering fields throughout the organization: development, cryptography, network security, security operations, incident response, security intelligence.
* Build and improve security utilities and tools for internal use that enable you and your fellow team members to operate at high speed and scale.
* Identify personal and team priorities and work on assignments with minimal supervision while maintaining quality and deadlines.
* Provide security expertise and guidance to a diverse set of Sika's IT and business teams.
* Conduct security reviews of core corporate and production infrastructure, including OT environments.

Your Skills and Experience

We Need Your Skills:
* BSc degree in IT, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent related field.
* at least one programming/scripting language, such as Python, Ruby, Powershell, Bash…
* Experience with malware analysis, forensics, SOAR, SIEM platforms, and a variety of Operating Systems (Windows, Linux, MacOS), as well as Azure Cloud Services is a big plus.

Soft skills:
* Willingness to learn.
* Enjoyment of problem solving.
* English language is needed.
