The Short Video organization is one of the largest within TikTok Engineering. It consists of several sub-orgs and value chains, each focusing on different areas under the broader "Short Video" experience of TikTok. The team primarily focuses on product and feature engineering. Aligned to TikTok's mission, the Short Video org drives innovation and excellence in the experiences that define TikTok. This includes building and scaling cutting-edge technologies that power the short-form video ecosystem, such as video creation and editing tools, immersive playback, discovery, and social interactions. We are looking for talented individuals to join us for an internship in 2026. Internships at TikTok aim to offer students industry exposure and hands-on experience. Candidate Requirements:

Minimum Qualifications - Currently pursuing an Undergraduate/Graduate/Master in Software Development, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical discipline; - Able to commit to working for 12 weeks during Summer 2026; - Experience with Python, Java, Golang, C#, or C++. Preferred Qualifications - Demonstrated software engineering experience from previous internships, work experience, coding competitions, or publications. - High levels of creativity and quick problem-solving capabilities.
