The Opportunity
We are looking for a clinically strong and customer-focused Clinical Specialist to join our Coronary team in Denmark.
In this field-based role, you will work closely with physicians and hospital teams in cath labs, providing hands-on procedural support, clinical expertise, and training. You will play a key role in driving clinical excellence and supporting the adoption of Abbott therapies across the region.
Key Responsibilities
Clinical Support & Expertise
* Provide in-procedure clinical and technical support in cath lab environments
* Act as a trusted advisor to physicians and healthcare professionals
* Deliver product demonstrations and respond to technical inquiries
Training & Education
* Deliver in-field training to Clinical Specialists and Territory Managers (~30%)
* Support the development and execution of tailored educational programs
* Contribute to certification and development of internal teams
Customer Engagement
* Build strong relationships with physicians, nurses, and key stakeholders
* Collaborate with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs)
* Adapt to varying hospital environments and schedules
Business Contribution
* Support regional strategy through procedural coverage and account development
* Identify opportunities to expand therapy adoption
* Support product launches and implementation plans
Operational Excellence
* Maintain accurate CRM reporting (e.g., OneForce), forecasts, and expenses
* Manage clinical materials, demo equipment, and budgets
* Ensure compliance with Abbott policies, ethical standards, and local regulations
Your Profile
Required:
* Bachelor's degree (preferably in Life Sciences or similar)
* Strong experience in Cath Lab, interventional cardiology, or clinical support roles
* Solid understanding of coronary procedures and hospital environments
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Fluency in Danish and English
* Willingness to travel extensively (up to ~70%)
Preferred:
* Strong knowledge of vascular anatomy and physiology
* Experience in clinical training and education
* Knowledge of the Danish healthcare system
