A job opportunity has arisen within Airbus' Sales Contracts Management (SCM) department in Blagnac, France.
As Sales Contracts Manager, you will be managing contracts for the sale of new airbus aircraft and will be in charge of the aircraft deliveries (on the commercial and contractual aspects) to the Airbus customers.
You will interact, internally, with our sales contracts management teams in Hamburg, Tianjin, Mobile and Mirabel (more than 70 people around the world) and with Airbus' negotiation, sales, legal, finance, accounting, technical delivery teams, and many more, and externally, with Airbus' customers and their financiers and legal advisors.
You will be integrated within the MCCNA department in Blagnac. You will be joining a team of 24 people.

Your responsibilities and missions:
As a Sales Contracts Manager, you will directly contribute to achieving the company's objectives:
- you will act as account owner for a portfolio of customers (airlines, lessors and/or private customers located in different regions of the world) and will ensure the good implementation and execution of all terms and conditions set forth in the aircraft purchase agreement, in particular:
- all contractual deadlines (flexibility rights, rescheduling rights, option exercise, issuance of delivery schedules etc);
- all payment obligations: by the customer (predelivery payment, payment of final aircraft price and any other contractual payment obligation), and by Airbus (management of customer credits);
- you will deliver aircraft to your customers as you will manage the aircraft delivery process up to the transfer of title to the aircraft from the contractual, legal, financial, accounting perspectives, while the Airbus technical delivery team will manage the technical aspects of the delivery;
- you will respond to all issues and requests related to the signed purchase agreement, whether the question comes from your Airbus colleagues or from your customers (and theirs financiers, law firms etc);
- you will also actively support the Airbus Business Units in the negotiation of new contractual agreements and/or modification of existing agreements with the customers.
At all times, the SCM needs to foster and develop good and close commercial relationship with Airbus customers, ensure correct interpretation and implementation of the contractual obligations and make decisions and/or recommendations in line with Airbus' commercial objectives after identifying and evaluating cost, risks and benefits.
Required skills / experiences:
- Solid and demonstrated experience in aviation contracts
- Legal expertise and understanding of legal aspects and terms
- Solid contractual drafting skills
- Solid computation skills (aircraft pricing, predelivery payments schedules)
- Strong team player, striving in a multicultural, multi-expertise environment. Excellent people-relationship skills with both internal and external stakeholders. At ease working with all hierarchy levels
- Ability to plan, decide and act autonomously
- Ability to operate in fast-paced, unpredictable and volatile working environment and to remain calm under stressful situations
- Ability to listen, anticipate, convince and influence
- Trustworthy: able to manage sensitive, confidential information, high level of reliability and accountability, keeping commitments and deadlines
- Strong command of English (oral & written) to ensure quality written communication and fluid interaction with international Customers, law firms, financiers
