We are looking for an experienced Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) Manager to lead acquisition activities across 16 countries in Eastern Europe and the Mediterranean, supporting KONE's growth in the construction, industrial, and technical service sectors.
This role is focused on end-to-end deal execution - from target identification to closing and post-merger integration - working closely with regional leadership and business teams.
Please note: This role requires hands-on M&A transaction experience. It is not suitable for candidates with purely strategy or general consulting backgrounds without direct deal execution exposure.

Key Responsibilities
* Define and execute the regional M&A strategy, aligned with KONE's growth priorities
* Identify, evaluate, and prioritize acquisition targets, particularly in construction, technical services, and related industries
* Build and maintain a strong pipeline of targets across multiple countries
* Lead end-to-end M&A transactions, including:
* Financial analysis and valuation (DCF, multiples, etc.)
* Due diligence coordination
* Negotiation support
* Deal structuring and closing
* Develop robust business cases, including financial modeling and risk assessment
* Drive post-merger integration, ensuring value creation and operational alignment
* Manage multiple transactions simultaneously in a fast-paced, international environment
* Collaborate with legal, finance, and country leadership teams

What We Are Looking For
* Minimum 5 years of hands-on M&A experience, with proven involvement in executing transactions end-to-end
(industry, investment banking, private equity, or Big 4 M&A / Transaction Services)
* Demonstrated experience in:
* Financial modeling and valuation
* Leading or significantly contributing to full deal cycles
* Experience in construction, industrial, infrastructure, or technical services sectors is a strong advantage
* Ability to operate across multiple countries and manage several deals in parallel
* Strong project management and stakeholder management skills
* Fluent English; additional regional languages are a plus
* Willingness to travel across the region

Additional Context (What You'll Work On)
* Focus on mid-market acquisitions, primarily in service and modernization businesses
* Exposure to a diverse regional portfolio across 16 countries
* Direct collaboration with regional leadership and senior decision-makers

Why Join KONE?
