* Responsibility includes the cost evaluation and calculation of machining components.
* Detailed cycle time calculations and processefficiency evaluations support the derivation of optimization measures.
* Costrelated consulting for purchased parts is provided to the relevant departments.
* Systematic analyses of cost structures help identify costsaving potential in components and manufacturing processes.
* Participation in DesigntoCost activities contributes to costoptimized product and process designs early in development.
* Support is provided to Purchasing and Sales during negotiations, along with active involvement in crossfunctional costanalysis workshops.
* Benchmark analyses and design optimization activities complement the daytoday responsibilities.
* The development and implementation of advanced calculation tools round off the task profile.

* Several years of professional experience in the machining industry is required.
* Experienced CNC Machining Technician and Programmer with handson production experience, combined with commercial and costengineering expertise and strong negotiations skills.
* A career path through production, engineering, quality, or comparable technical departments ensures a strong interdisciplinary background.
* Experience with cost calculation tools and cycle time calculators is mandatory.
* Knowledge of additional manufacturing technologies is considered an advantage.
* Willingness to travel for business purposes (approx. 10%) as well as excellent written and spoken English skills are expected.
* Additional languages (especially German) are an advantage.
