About B&P
The Bids & Projects department (B&P) of Thales Naval consists of Bid Management, Project Management, PMO and S&OP. We drive the organization in realizing reliable, transparent and predictable on time, on cost and on quality delivery to our customers.

Starting with long-term thinking and strategic planning, we are in control of demand and supply planning. We ensure that bids are well estimated and scheduled so the handover to project execution is smooth. We use adequate tooling, act in accordance with instructions and ensure that project execution is carried out in a predictable, transparent and reliable way.

To continuously excel in on time, on cost, on quality delivery to customers, we stimulate a culture in which we work on continuous improvement and learning, we take responsibility and we cooperate with each other.

About your future job
We are looking for a Manager S&OP who will manage our end-to-end demand and supply process. In this role, you lead the S&OP team (10 FTE) and are responsible for the execution of the full S&OP process. You facilitate key meetings such as pre-S&OP and Executive S&OP, report on KPIs, implement improvements and ensure proper follow-up of actions resulting from the S&OP cycle.

With your strong continuous improvement mindset, you will drive the development of an Integrated Business Planning approach, enabling us to optimize our (financial) end-to-end planning. Your thorough understanding of demand and supply processes allows you to create scenario and range planning that supports (senior) stakeholders in making mid- and long-term decisions.

As part of the Management Team Bids & Projects, you work closely with your MT colleagues to create synergies in short-, mid- and long-term planning. You report to the Director Bids & Projects Naval and ensure alignment with our Group S&OP processes.

* You have a higher education degree (Master).
* You have knowledge and experience in working as an S&OP Manager.
* You have worked in an Engineering-to-Order and Manufacture-to-order environment.
* You are experienced in working with IT-systems like Primavera, Oracle, Anaplan, PowerBI.
* You have proven experience in managing a team.
* You have proven change management skills.
* You work well with different levels within the organization and excel in stakeholder management. You have the ability to deal with conflicting interest.
* You are analytical, strive for excellence and are able to see the bigger picture.
* You have excellent verbal and written communication skills in English. Speaking and writing Dutch would be a plus.
