Job Description:
Are you ready to revolutionise the world with TEKEVER?
At TEKEVER, we lead innovation in Europe as the European leader in unmanned technology, where cutting-edge advancements meet unparalleled innovation.
Digital | Defence | Security | Space
We operate across four strategic areas, combining artificial intelligence, systems engineering, data science, and aerospace technology to tackle global challenges - from protecting people and critical infrastructure to exploring space.
We offer a unique surveillance-as-a-service solution that delivers real-time intelligence, enhancing maritime safety and saving lives. Our products and services support strategic and operational decisions in the most demanding environments - whether at sea, on land, in space, or in cyberspace.
Become part of a dynamic, multidisciplinary, and mission-driven team that is transforming maritime surveillance and redefining global safety standards.
At TEKEVER, our mission is to provide limitless support through mission-oriented game-changers, delivering the right information at the right time to empower critical decision-making.
If you're passionate about technology and eager to shape the future - TEKEVER is the place for you.
Location: Caldas da Rainha
The role
You will own how technical knowledge is captured and turned into certified documentation across the AR5 product team. This is not passive writing or pure prompt engineering: you enable our product engineers to generate documentation directly from their own work using TEKEVER's internal LLM tools, while acting as the accountable human-in-the-loop who guarantees accuracy and compliance. In short, you are a force multiplier for the engineering team, making technical writing a by-product of engineering work rather than a downstream burden.
What you will do
* Enable engineers to produce AR5 documentation with our internal LLM tools, providing the structure, templates, and review that turn raw knowledge into release-quality output;
* Act as the human-in-the-loop: validate and correct AI-generated content for technical accuracy and compliance with aerospace, defence, and UAS certification standards;
* Build and maintain documentation templates, authoring standards, and knowledge-capture practices (structured notes, design rationale) that feed our tooling;
* Govern the full AR5 documentation baseline: structure, version control, traceability, single source of truth;
* Collaborate across systems engineering, avionics/firmware, RF, payload (EO/IR, radar, AIS, SIGINT), and quality teams.
What you bring
* Degree in Aerospace, Electronic, Electrotechnical, or Systems Engineering, or similar;
* Proven experience in a technical role in aerospace, defence, or UAS/autonomous systems, such as documentation engineer, technical writer, or systems engineer;
* Knowledge of avionics, embedded systems, RF, and payload integration, and the ability to read schematics and protocols (MIL-STD, MAVLink, STANAG, or similar);
* Comfort with AI/LLM tooling, version control, and docs-as-code, or strong aptitude to adopt them;
* Excellent technical English, paired with the judgment to validate AI output.
What we have to offer you:
* An excellent work environment and an opportunity to make a difference;
* Salary Compatible with the level of proven experience.
* Daily shuttle from Leiria, Lisbon, Alcobaça and Rio Maior
