Your Role
We are looking for a Global Social Media Lead for the globlal media team, who will report to the global media lead.
You are responsible for defining the global Social Media strategy and ensuring that our brands show up in Pet Parents' daily lives in a distinctive, relevant, and consistent way.. Social Media is our most powerful lever to build brand salience, consideration, and preference. You bridge high-level brand strategy and storytelling with tactical path-to-purchase activation, ensuring that all content is truly social-first, platform-native, and designed to drive measurable business impact.

What you will do
Key Responsibilities:
* Strategy & Guidelines: Define the "Social Activation & Influencers Playbook" for all markets.
* Paid Boosting: Act as the Responsible (R) party for executing paid boosting and whitelisting through the unified CGO buying process.
* Community Governance: Oversee community management guardrails to ensure brand consistency.
* Platform Partnerships: Lead joint business plans (JBPs) with Meta, TikTok,( Snap / Pint.) New social channels.
* Tech Stack: Ownership of global social listening.
* Crisis Protocol: Define the "escalation ladder" for social media sentiment crises across markets.

Core Responsibilities
· Social-First Content Strategy: Lead the global creative framework for Meta, TikTok, and Snapchat. You ensure that global "Big Ideas" are translated into platform-native formats (e.g., TikTok transitions, IG Reels) that drive high engagement and consideration.

· Global Social Media Strategy & Channel Architecture: You design and own the global Social Media strategy, fully aligned with Brand and Marketing strategies. You define priority audiences and channel roles for Social Media across the portfolio ensuring clarity on objectives, formats, and contribution to the funnel. You define what "best-in-class Social Media" looks like for the brands and ensure consistent implementation across markets.

· The Content-Creator Ecosystem: In collaboration with Global Marketing, you define the strategic role of influencers and creators within the Social Media ecosystem, aligned with brand and funnel objectives.
You move beyond one-off posts toward long-term "Brand Ambassadors" who provide the social proof and "Usage Occasions" (e.g., "How to use our product for a summer BBQ") that drive consideration.

· Community & Cultural Listening: Leverage social listening tools to identify emerging cultural trends, consumer behaviours, and category insights. Act as a cultural radar, translating insights into recommendations for content teams and markets.

· Integrated Paid Social & Full-Funnel Activation: Work closely with the Full-Funnel Manager to design coherent social journeys from Awareness to Consideration to Conversion.

· Social Commerce Integration: You oversee the integration of Social Commerce capabilities (Social Shops, Scan-to-Buy, shoppable formats), ensuring seamless connections between social discovery and local e-retailers.

· Media Planning & Execution: You coordinate with global leads to develop Media Plans following channel best practices. You monitor plan execution alongside agencies and local media teams to ensure excellence in delivery.

Link to Content & Measurement
· Content: You are the primary stakeholder for the Marketing team working on global assets. You provide the "Feedback Loop": "Our audience in Italy prefers long-form educational content, whereas France is engaging more with quick-cut aesthetic videos."

· Measurement: You measure success through Attitudinal Equity (does the audience feel better about the brand?) BLS, and Attention Metrics (watch time, share rates) not only "Reach & Frecuency".

What we are looking for
● Proven experience in Social paid & organic, ideally with more than 7 years in a related or equivalent position
● Dynamic Agility & Adaptability: You thrive in the "always-on" nature of global social
media. You view shifting algorithms and platform updates not as hurdles, but as opportunities to pivot and innovate.

* Proactive Trend-Spotting: You don't wait for a trend to hit the mainstream; you are already monitoring the horizon. You have a proven ability to translate emerging cultural shifts into actionable, brand-aligned strategies in real-time.

* Decisive Action: You possess the bias for action necessary to move from insight to execution quickly, ensuring our brand remains a leader in the global conversation rather than a follower.
