Packaging Development Engineer

Job Description:

WHAT YOU WILL DO

* Take an active role in feasibility studies and line implementation phases of new projects.
* Ensure on-time packaging development in line with project timelines, collaborating with local and global stakeholders.
* Manage packaging development activities considering sustainability and productivity targets, and analyze packaging materials especially for new developments.
* Follow new trends and technologies, prepare technical documentation (drawings, specifications), and coordinate with Procurement for cost-related activities.
* Create, update, and revise packaging recipes in SAP and related systems, and prepare procedures for new or modified packaging lines.
* Define packaging laboratory standards, control parameters, and lead Quality and Food Safety tasks within the scope of responsibility.

OUR PERFECT CANDIDATE

* Bachelor's degree in Food Engineering or Chemical Engineering
* Excellent command of written and spoken English
* Minimum 2 years of experience in packaging (preferred)
* SAP knowledge is an asset
* Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills; proactive team player with good negotiation abilities
