Licensed Aircraft Technician - In-Flight Entertainment

Job Description:

Synopsis

Perform and certify aircraft maintenance tasks as per operational requirements to timely identify and rectify defects and to ensure safety of flight operations.

Accountabilities

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES

* Ensure maintenance is performed at the highest level in accordance with relevant technical Data and in that respect keeps him/herself updated on current and new Technical and Quality Notices issued also general/technical information.
* Ensure maximum attention is given to on time performance, by assuring that all materials, tooling and equipment along with associated documentation is prepared in advance to the task in hand
* Inform and consult with LAE as required to enable LAE to maintain a complete overview of Aircraft
* Maintain a FOD free working area and clean up bay area before and after work
* Develop one self and increase Aircraft knowledge with ultimate goal for further career development
* Accept appropriate training that will enable a more effective contribution
* Proactively participate in all Health and Safety matters
* Promote a reporting culture that aligns with the companies? ethos
* Ensure that all unused serviceable and unserviceable items are returned to stores with the correct label attached
* Ensure any tooling or equipment used is duly cleaned and returned in serviceable condition, or clearly labeled if defective

Education & Experience

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE

* Valid aircraft maintenance license (ICAOII, EASA66 + GCAA). Formal aircraft apprenticeship or equivalent.
* 2 years Line/Base Maintenance Environment
