Purpose of the role
To support business areas with day-to-day processing, reviewing, reporting, trading and issue resolution.
Accountabilities
* Support various business areas with day-to-day initiatives including processing, reviewing, reporting, trading, and issue resolution.
* Collaboration with teams across the bank to align and integrate operational processes.
* Identification of areas for improvement and providing recommendations in operational processes.
* Development and implementation of operational procedures and controls to mitigate risks and maintain operational efficiency.
* Development of reports and presentations on operational performance and communicate findings to internal senior stakeholders.
* Identification of industry trends and developments to implement best practice in banking operations.
* Participation in projects and initiatives to improve operational efficiency and effectiveness.

Join us as an Investment Bank Middle Office FX Corp Sales Assistant, supporting the FX Corp Sales desks across FX Cash, FX Options, IRD, Commodities and other related products. This is an opportunity to work closely with Sales, Trading, clients and internal support teams to deliver a responsive, well-controlled and high-quality middle office service. You will help manage client and trade-related processes across the UK and EMEA, including on boarding, account data maintenance, regulatory queries, documentation follow-up, settlements issue resolution. You will also build strong relationships across Sales, Trading, Legal, Regulatory, Static Data, Settlements and Operations, ensuring activity is handled efficiently and in line with internal policies and regulatory expectations.
To be successful in this role, you should have experience with:
* Middle office or operations support within Investment Banking, ideally across FX, Rates, Commodities or other markets products.
* Supporting client queries, pre/post-trade issues and account maintenance with accuracy and care.
* Working in a control-focused environment, with strong risk awareness, sound judgement and effective escalation.
