. Execute routine cloud maintenance tasks including patching, updates, and configuration drift corrections.
. Support documentation of cloud architectures, runbooks, standard operating procedures, and compliance artifacts.
. Help maintain security configurations and respond to security findings in accordance with SSA and CGI Federal policies.
. Contribute to migration efforts from on premise to cloud or hybrid cloud services under guidance from senior staff.
. Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams across SOHE divisions-including DBOPC, DCSI, DITM, DNE, and others-during integrated operations.

. Foundational knowledge of AWS, Azure, or other major cloud platforms (coursework, labs, or certification prep acceptable).
. Basic understanding of virtualization concepts (VMware, Hyper V, KVM) and Linux/Windows server administration.
. Familiarity with networking fundamentals (VPCs, subnets, routing, firewalls, load balancers).
. Exposure to scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
. Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem solving skills.
. Ability to work as part of a collaborative, fast moving engineering team.

Desired qualifications/non-essential skills required:
. Hands on lab or internship experience with cloud deployments or DevOps tools (Git, Jenkins, Ansible, Terraform).
. Introductory certifications such as AWS Cloud Practitioner, Azure Fundamentals, or CompTIA Cloud+.
. Understanding of enterprise IT operations, monitoring tools, or ITIL concepts.
