The Large Group Sales Executive - Group Medicare sells health insurance and related products to new large group accounts (generally 300+ contracts). The Large Group Sales Executive - Employer Group work assignments involve moderately complex to complex issues where the analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors.
The Large Group Sales Executive - Group Medicare fully understands all product lines, sells to targeted clients, and identifies potential new clients in a specified territory or geographic area. Begins to influence department's strategy. Makes decisions on moderately complex to complex issues regarding technical approach for project components, and work is performed without direction. Exercises considerable latitude in determining objectives and approaches to assignments.

Required Qualifications
* 3+ years of business-to-business sales experience.
* Active health insurance license.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Entrepreneurial and self-sufficient.
* Proven sales success in the health and wellness solutions industry.
* Ability to travel regularly, by land and air, throughout defined sales region.
* This role is part of Humana's driver safety program and therefore requires an individual to have a valid state driver's license and are expected to maintain personal vehicle liability insurance. Individual must carry vehicle insurance in accordance with their residing state minimum required limits, or $25,000 bodily injury per person/$25,000 bodily injury per event /$10,000 for property damage or whichever is higher.
Preferred Qualifications
* Bachelor's Degree.
* Experience selling Medicare Advantage products.
* Active life insurance license.
* Prior sales experience in the health and wellness solutions industry working with large group segment brokers and employers.
* Experience working with public sector and/or labor organizations.
Additional Information
* Travel up to 50% with possible weekend and overnight stays.
* Must live within one hour of major (international airport). Position requires 50% travel with a focus primarily on PA/SNJ plus nationwide for conferences a few times a year.
At minimum, a download speed of 25 Mbps and an upload speed of 10 Mbps is recommended; wireless, wired cable or DSL connection is suggested.
* Satellite, cellular and microwave connection can be used only if approved by leadership
* Associates who live and work from Home in the state of California, Illinois, Montana, or South Dakota will be provided a bi-weekly payment for their internet expense.
* Humana will provide Home or Hybrid Home/Office associates with telephone equipment appropriate to meet the business requirements for their position/job.
* Work from a dedicated space lacking ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI / HIPAA information
Travel: While this is a remote position, occasional travel to Humana's offices for training or meetings may be required.

Pay RangeThe compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.
$102,500 - $139,700 per year
This job is eligible for a commission incentive plan. This incentive opportunity is based upon company and/or individual performance.
