This VIE position is based in Zalaegerszeg, Hungary (Europe), within a multicultural manufacturing site offering a dynamic, hands-on and international working environment.
You will join a local engineering team while interacting regularly with international stakeholders.
Your Mission
Within the Method Engineering team, we are looking for a VIE to support daily engineering activities and act as a key contact person on site.
This VIE offers a unique opportunity to:
* Work in an international environment
* Be close to production, maintenance and warehouse operations
* Develop strong foundations in industrial methods, continuous improvement and digitalization
You will work directly on site-related engineering topics across the Methods and Maintenance functions, with close interaction with other local teams.
Key Responsibilities
During your assignment, you will:
* Support initiatives to increase the efficiency of production lines and warehouse operations
* Analyze production flows and contribute to layout adaptations based on demand
* Build and maintain strong product and process knowledge
* Develop and update work instructions for production and warehouse activities
* Participate in digitalization and continuous improvement initiatives
* Support productivity improvement projects at factory level
* Take part in root cause analyses for internal or external quality and performance issues
* Work closely with the maintenance team on technical improvements and problem-solving
* Contribute to improving ergonomics and safety in production and warehouse areas
Education
* Engineering degree in industrial field
Experience
* First experience of minimum 1 year through internships, apprenticeships in an industrial or manufacturing environment
Languages
* Fluent English (working language)
Personal Skills
* Ability to interact with diverse teams and cultures
* Good communication skills, both written and verbal
* Well-organized, structured and able to synthesize information
* Curious, proactive and eager to learn in a shopfloor environment
