Our team combines engineering, programme delivery and digital expertise to help clients modernise how they deliver capital projects-using technologies such as Building Information Modelling (BIM) and Virtual Design and Construction (VDC) to improve outcomes across the full asset lifecycle.
You'll be joining at a pivotal moment of growth, working alongside experts across Industry X to digitise, optimise and transform traditional capital project delivery.

The opportunity:
Accenture is seeking Digital Engineering practitioners with strong BIM delivery experience to join our Infrastructure & Capital Projects team in Ireland. This role focuses on defining BIM and VDC strategies and leading their implementation across greenfield and brownfield construction and engineering programmes, spanning design, construction and handover.

In this role you will:
* Drive digital transformation across capital projects, helping clients realise value through BIM and VDC-enabled delivery models across the full asset lifecycle.
* Define and govern BIM delivery, including developing BIM Guidelines, reviewing BIM Execution Plans, and ensuring alignment across design and construction teams.
* Provide end-to-end BIM oversight, ensuring effective 3D design coordination, high-quality model reviews, smooth handover from design to construction, and delivery of accurate as-built models.
* Design future ways of working for clients, shaping operating models, processes and technology solutions in collaboration with business, engineering and digital stakeholders.
* Build trusted client relationships and support growth, contributing to innovation workshops, proposal development, sales pursuits, and thought leadership across the Industry X practice.

We are looking for:
* Experience delivering complex capital projects from a client-facing programme or project delivery perspective, with accountability for time, cost and quality outcomes.
* Strong BIM and VDC delivery expertise, including hands-on experience managing BIM processes on commercial, institutional or infrastructure projects.
* Proficiency with industry-standard BIM platforms, such as Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC), Navisworks, and Common Data Environment (CDE) solutions.
* Sector experience in asset- or energy-intensive industries, such as Utilities, Energy, Chemicals, Transport, Telecoms, Construction Services or Data Centres.
* Ability to lead and collaborate effectively, working as a delivery lead or subject-matter expert within multi-disciplinary consulting and engineering teams.

Target industries are Asset- and Energy-intensive industries including:
* Energy, Utilities (water, power, nuclear), Chemicals
* Infrastructure and Networks including Road & Rail, Telecoms, Construction Services, Data Centres

Experience in one or more of the following would be an advantage:
* Delivery of data centre or other highly complex facilities
* Engineering or science background, or equivalent practical experience
* Programme, portfolio or development-phase leadership on large-scale schemes
* Defining transformation roadmaps, solution architectures and operating models
* Consulting delivery experience, including team leadership roles
* Sales and business development support, including RFP responses and solution shaping
* Large-scale delivery and organisational change management
* Established client relationships and industry network
