Lead Solution Architect

We are looking for a Lead Solution Architect for Bayer's PH Drug Innovation Team!

A Solution Architect is responsible for designing and implementing robust, scalable, and innovative IT solutions that meet the business requirements and align with the company's strategic objectives. This role requires a deep understanding of technology stacks, architectural principles, and business processes, ensuring that solutions are efficient, secure, and sustainable.

YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Architectural Design and Development:

* Design end-to-end solutions that meet business requirements.

* Develop and maintain architectural blueprints and documentation.

Stakeholder Collaboration:

* Work closely with business leaders, product managers, and development teams to understand business needs and translate them into technical requirements.

* Communicate architectural decisions, plans, goals, and strategies clearly.

Technology Evaluation and Integration:

* Evaluate and select appropriate technologies and frameworks from the aligned IT portfolio and technology stack.

* Develop designs to integrate new technologies into existing systems and infrastructure.

Quality Assurance:

* Ensure that the necessary performance standards of the target solution are clearly defined.

* Establish methods to ensure the desired quality can be measured and managed.

Risk Management:

* Identify potential risks in the architecture of a solution and develop mitigation strategies.

* Ensure compliance with security standards and regulatory requirements.

Mentorship and Leadership:

* Provide guidance and mentorship to development teams. Lead architectural discussions and promote best practices within the team.

Continuous Improvement:

* Stay updated with the latest technology trends and industry best practices.

* Continuously seek opportunities to improve architectural processes and solutions.

WHO YOU ARE:

* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

* Proven experience as a Solution Architect or similar role.

* Extensive experience in software development and coding in various languages ( Python, Javascript etc.).

* Strong understanding of architectural styles and design patterns.

* Proficiency in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, ).

* Experience with microservices architecture, RESTful APIs, and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).

* Proficiency in Big Data and relational and graph database technologies (Neo4j a big plus).

* Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools (CI/CD, automation).

* Ability to analyze complex business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

* Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

* Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
