Graduate Engineer for Equipment

Job Description

Role Summary/Purpose:
Leads the execution & change of manufacturing processes while supporting production.
Essential Responsibilities:
* Develop manufacturing processes for New Product Introduction (NPI), documenting process changes, driving process / fixture improvements, driving lead and cycle time improvements, cost of quality (COQ), and Environment, Health & Safety (EHS) actions.
* Participate & Drive LEAN initiatives for process improvements.
* Develop and implement process improvements to reduce costs and product cycles.
* Maintain the manufacturing engineering system on part routing and standards.
* Design necessary fixtures and tooling for manufacturing NPIâEUR™s and for process improvements.
* Manage multiple projects by providing scheduling, resource management, budget control and EHS compliance.
* Interface with vendors and internal contacts in an effective manner to ensure that the technical and EHS perspective is properly conveyed.
* Act as change agent, understanding and moving the operation toward world-class performance.
* Promote customer satisfaction and develop positive customer relationships.
* Participate in EHS related actions, to improve safety in own area.
METRICS:
Main metrics applicable for this operation are: EHS: 0 OSHA; 100% On time closure for Findings and Concerns. Quality: Reduction in total cost of quality per business guidelines. VCP: Drive to completion VCP projects. Improve labor efficiency by 10%. Inventory: Meet inventory targets. Service: Schedule attainment above 90% to guarantee stock availability.
Qualifications/Requirements:
* BS Degree in Engineering or Technology Field.

* Strong analytical skills.
* Prior experience as a process leader and with implementing productivity tools.
* Strong organizational skills.
* Ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadline.

* Ability to bring assignments to a successful completion. Ability to anticipate customer needs and ensure that they are met.
* Strong oral and written communication skills (Bilingual)
