Product Supply Process Engineering - Summer Student

About the job
This position will involve but is not limited to, a combination of the following tasks

* To provide Process Engineering support to the Product Supply APU including troubleshooting issues on the line
* On-going continuous improvement initiatives and capital projects
* Validation (IQ,OQ,PQ etc) drafting and execution
* Support the manufacturing of Auto Injector commercial products
* Support the packaging of Lyo vials
* Support technology transfer of new products
* Liaising with vendors on supply of parts and on site maintenance
* Work as part of a highly focused and integrated Engineering Team in a controlled not classified (CNC) environment.

Main responsibilities:
Provide process engineering support to the Product Supply APU. The Product Supply APU is currently expanding and consists of multiple platforms for the PFS inspection, assembly, labelling, cartoning, of autoinjectors and prefilled syringes.

Engineering interns will be involved in a wide range of actions across the PS APU. Some additional information and responsibilities are listed below.

* Ensure safety compliance at all times
* Providing technical and engineering support for process and equipment failures
* Identifying and implementing process and product improvements
* Supporting qualification of new products/processes
* Analysing machine performance data
* Managing improvement projects within budget and time constraints
* Support new product introductions and capacity expansions, including new vendor selections
* Maintenance planning
* Design changes
* Change controls
* OEE improvement
* Yield improvement, etc.

About you
Strong problem-solving skills.
Documentation/protocol generation and execution skills.
Relevant experience in a manufacturing environment.
Experience with windows programs - Excel, Word, Power Point, Power BI etc
