Ford Motor Company is seeking a highly analytical and driven Intern to join the Global Treasury team. This role is focused on a critical strategic mission: identifying the financial and operational levers required to optimize Ford's global cash target.
The current average cash balance of $24.1B is influenced by various operational disruptions and "safety buffers." Your goal is to move beyond high-level targets to quantify the "why" behind these numbers. You will analyze historical data, categorize the costs of operational inefficiencies, and build a data-driven roadmap that allows Ford to safely operate at a reduced cash target of below $20B, thereby driving significant capital efficiency across the enterprise

Requerimientos del candidato/a:

You'll have...
* Education: Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Data Analytics, or a related field.
* Analytical Rigor: Strong proficiency in data analysis and financial modeling. Experience with tools like Excel (advanced), SQL, Tableau, or PowerBI is highly preferred.
* Strategic Thinking: Ability to connect micro-level operational events (like a plant hold) to macro-level financial outcomes (like global cash targets).
* Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to "tell the story" behind the data to senior stakeholders.
* Curiosity: A proactive mindset with the desire to dig into the "root cause" of financial inefficiencies.

This position is a salary grade 4 and ranges from $56,400-$94,900.
Final determination of salary grade will be based on candidate's skills and experience, and base salary will be set within the applicable range according to job scope, responsibility and competitive market value.
