Summary of Job Purpose:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented intern to join our Technical Support Engineering team. The successful candidate will play an integral role in simplifying and automating our databases, improving information flows, and streamlining technical operations. The intern will focus on leveraging Excel, VBA coding, and Power BI to create solutions that enhance data management and reporting efficiency.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
* Develop and maintain VBA scripts to automate data transfer between multiple Excel spreadsheets and databases.
* Design and implement Excel-based tools to improve data tracking and reporting for the technical support team.
* Work with Power BI to create visual reports and dashboards, ensuring that information is accurately presented and easy to access.
* Collaborate with team members to identify opportunities for process automation and continuous improvement within our technical support workflows.
* Support the integration of different data sources to enable seamless data flow and simplify information management.
* Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to Excel automation, databases, and data transfer processes.

Scopes and Accountabilities:
* Accountable for updating and improving all record keeping systems / programs maintained by Technical Support Engineering.
* Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
* Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis.
* Solid experience in writing and optimizing VBA code for automation and data manipulation.
* Familiarity with Power BI and creating interactive data visualizations and reports.

This position requires access to information and hardware subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or the Export Administration Regulations (EAR). The selected candidate must be a U.S. person or must meet eligibility requirements for access to export-controlled information and hardware.
