ABOUT THE TEAM
The SAP Concur Deal Support Team is part of the Global Commercial COE Finance Organization and operates as a global team supporting Concur deals end to end from quote approval to contract drafting. We assist internal stakeholders from a commercial, contracting, and revenue recognition standpoint. Our responsibilities include ensuring that all non-standard proposals, quotes, redlines, and contracts created are commercially viable and compliant with SAP Revenue Recognition, Commercial and Contracting policies.
SUMMARY & ROLE INFORMATION
As an SAP Concur Commercial Business Partner, you will play a pivotal role in:
· Strategic Sales Support: Provide commercial, contracting and financial guidance for complex Concur deal structures. Review non-standard pricing structures and non-standard clauses with commercial impact. Provide training and guidance to sales and other teams on financial and compliance-related aspects of deal structuring and contracting. Quote approval and contract drafting: Act as a CFO delegate approver - review, approve Concur quotes. Draft and review commercial contracts, ensuring that terms are consistent with what was approved during the deal structuring and approval process to ensure compliance.
· Collaboration Champion: Work collaboratively with internal stakeholders and other cross functional teams on non-standard deal requests, while providing end-to-end deal support. Act as a liaison between sales, finance, legal, and other internal departments to streamline the deal process.
· Process Optimization: Identify and address inefficiencies in existing processes, championing continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.
· Relationship Building: Cultivate enduring partnerships with internal stakeholders, focusing on various business initiatives and goals. Build partnerships with regional leaders to improve relationships and ensure best practices are followed.
· Analytical & Strategic Vision: Demonstrate strong analytical, strategic vision, decision-making, and problem-solving skills in assessing and advising on risks and commercial related issues.
· Integrity & Trust: Exhibit the highest level of integrity and trustworthiness, being highly credible and willing to express candid opinions.
· Communication Skills: Possess excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with stakeholders at all levels.
· Resourcefulness: Utilize resourcefulness, including leveraging relevant new technologies and systems, to enhance operational effectiveness and efficiency.
EXPERIENCE & EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS
· Professional Experience: Minimum of 2 years in a finance-related role, including experience in commercial finance, revenue accounting, pricing, contracting or billing.
· Educational Background: bachelor's or master's degree in law, Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or related field.
· Language Skills: Proficiency in written and spoken English (Spanish and Portuguese are a plus).
· Technical Proficiency: Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
· Attributes: Self-motivated, with strong analytical, critical thinking, and interpersonal skills.
· Agility: Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work effectively under pressure, managing multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
· Team Collaboration: Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment, proactive in contributing to both internal and external projects.
· Expectation to support the business during quarter and year-end closing periods. This may include working some weekends, some public holidays, and some overtime as needed.
