About the job
What will you do as a Payroll Professional?
Together with your colleagues from the Payroll team and the social secretariat (SD Worx), you will ensure that our payroll administration is processed down to the last detail. Your responsibilities are extensive and varied. In addition to the monthly payroll, the following tasks are just a small selection from the range of duties: calculating vacation time, checking year-end bonuses, audit preparations, etc.
You are the point of contact and the expert in the field of payroll administration and social documents for our Danoners at our location in Brussels. You can answer questions from office staff and managers alike and you draw energy from making contacts with colleagues from different departments.
As a payroll professional, you have no problem sending communications to a large group of Danoners. Together with your colleagues, you ensure the smooth running of the payroll for white collar employees.
In addition to your daily activities, you will enjoy taking a critical look at our processes and services and looking for opportunities to optimize and improve them. You will occasionally be part of a project team when the opportunity arises, for example when rolling out new payroll systems.
In this role, you will report to our Admin & Payroll Lead. You will be part of an international team of 10 colleagues in administration & payroll. Of course, you will also have good contact with colleagues from the broader HR team, such as our HRBPs, Talent & Recruitment, as well as the Rewards team & Finance.
We expect you to be at the office in Brussels two days a week. You can work from home on the other days. You will also need to go to the Rotselaar office on a regular basis.
In addition to a bachelor's degree in HR, (social) law or accountancy, you have already gained a first professional experience in a similar position. This will also give you extensive knowledge of Belgian social legislation.
You are someone who works accurately and discreetly and, of course, with the necessary affinity for figures and administration.
On top of that you:
* Gain energy from dealing with deadlines
* Enjoy working together in a team and can also take on your own responsibilities independently
* Are fluent in Dutch and English. You also have a good knowledge of French
* Show that excel holds few secrets for you
* Have excellent social skills: you are the best at building good relationships with internal & external stakeholders
