The Standard, Mexico City arrives in the historic Tabacalera neighborhood with character, color and a signature wink. The hotel will feature 206 rooms and suites, 27 branded residences and a leafy "secret" garden sure to become the city's favorite hideaway. Our debut in Latin America raises the aesthetic stakes, drawing from sun-washed CDMX architecture and a sensual, organic palette.
A bright café and late-night diner keep the ground floor lively from early mornings to the final nightcap. Above it all, a rooftop pool, signature restaurant and outdoor bar take in striking views of the Monumento a la Revolución. Each room and residence includes a private balcony, offering a front-row seat to the city.
We're looking for a Sales & Events Manager who knows that the best events start with a great conversation. Someone who can spot an opportunity, build genuine relationships, and turn ideas into experiences people won't stop talking about.

From rooftop celebrations and brand launches to intimate dinners, creative productions, and corporate gatherings, you'll help bring our spaces to life with people, energy, and experiences that feel unmistakably The Standard.
You'll be equal parts connector, collaborator, and closer-building relationships that last well beyond the final toast.
What You'll Do
* Build relationships with corporate clients, brands, agencies, planners, and social hosts looking for spaces with personality.
* Generate new business across social events, corporate meetings, celebrations, private dining, and brand activations.
* Guide clients from the first conversation through confirmation, working closely with the Events team to ensure every detail feels seamless.
* Develop creative proposals that reflect each client's vision while staying true to The Standard's spirit.
* Partner with Food & Beverage, Operations, Marketing, and Revenue to bring memorable experiences to life.
* Represent The Standard at networking events, showcases, and industry gatherings, always growing your community and pipeline.
* Stay curious about what's happening across the city, identifying trends and opportunities that keep our event calendar fresh and relevant.
* Build lasting partnerships that turn one great event into many more
Profil requis du candidat:
What You Bring
* Experience in hotel sales, event sales, catering, or lifestyle hospitality.
* A passion for creating memorable experiences and building authentic relationships.
* Strong commercial instincts with the confidence to negotiate and close business.
* Exceptional communication and organizational skills.
* The ability to manage multiple events and priorities without losing attention to detail.
* Fluency in English and Spanish.
* A collaborative spirit, creative mindset, and genuine love for hospitality.
