Position Overview

DB Global Technology is Deutsche Bank's technology centre in Central and Eastern Europe. Since its set-up in 2013, Bucharest Technology Centre (BEX) has constantly proven its capacity to deliver global technology products and services, playing a dynamic role in the Bank's technology transformation.
We have a robust, hands-on engineering culture dedicated to continuous learning, knowledge-sharing, technical skill development and networking. We are an essential part of the Bank's technology platform and develop applications for many important business areas.
We are looking for a SAS / SQL / Cloud Engineer to provide the technical backbone for reporting and analytics delivery. The role focuses on SAS and SQL-based data preparation, strong data handling discipline, and support for scalable and stable analytical delivery.

Responsibilities
* Build and maintain SAS and SQL-based data preparation for reporting and analytics
* Support structured data pipelines and analytical delivery processes
* Ensure strong data quality and reproducible outputs
* Support reporting-related implementation work with a strong engineering mindset
* Contribute to stable, efficient, and controlled delivery of analytical solutions
* Work closely with analysts and the team lead to support end-to-end delivery
* Support the connection of reporting work to modern technical components where required

Skills
* Strong hands-on experience in SAS and SQL
* Good Python skills
* Strong understanding of data management and reporting-related data flows
* Strong quality focus and structured working style
* Ability to work on technically complex delivery topics
* Experience supporting analytical or reporting environments
* Exposure to cloud-based environments is desirable
* Experience in banking or regulated data environments is an advantage
* Experience supporting production-oriented data and reporting processes is beneficial
