We are currently recruiting a Fraud Prevention and Risk Analyst to sit within the EU ECommerce IT team, based in our London office. You will be reporting into the European Fraud Lead, working closely with EC IT, Customer Service, Logistics, Warehouse Operations, Finance, EU Ecommerce teams, global stakeholders and external operational partners at a local, European and global level.
This is an opportunity for someone with strong analytical skills and experience in Ecommerce, fraud prevention, risk management, business analysis or operational improvement to help build a structured and scalable fraud management function across UNIQLO Europe eCommerce. You will support the reduction of financial losses linked to chargebacks, payments, deliveries, returns, refund abuse and account abuse by improving detection, strengthening prevention strategies and driving practical, data led improvements across our European markets.
What you will be responsible for:
* Analyse fraud trends across payments, chargebacks, deliveries, returns, refund abuse and account abuse, identifying risks and supporting decision making through clear data insights.
* Conduct investigations into suspicious transactions, fraud cases and emerging abuse patterns, including root cause analysis and recommendations for practical prevention measures.
* Build and maintain regular fraud reporting, KPI dashboards and management summaries to support monitoring, business decision making and visibility of recurring loss drivers.
* Support monitoring and improvement activities across chargeback fraud, payment fraud, delivery fraud, return abuse, refund abuse, account takeover and other emerging fraud schemes.
* Identify and implement process improvements to reduce fraud related losses, operational inefficiencies and manual fraud checks across customer journeys, claims, returns, refunds and delivery related cases.
* Help standardise fraud handling processes across Customer Service, Warehouse Operations, Logistics and related business teams to improve consistency across markets.
* Support fraud related system enhancements, automation initiatives and process digitisation projects, including business requirements gathering, testing and implementation activity.
* Work closely with internal teams, global stakeholders, payment providers, fraud solution partners and external operational partners to coordinate fraud prevention initiatives.
* Support internal training and fraud awareness activity for Customer Service, warehouses, delivery carriers and operational teams, helping to establish standard fraud handling practices and best practice.
* Contribute to the European Fraud Roadmap in partnership with the Fraud Lead, helping the business move from reactive case handling to proactive, scalable fraud prevention.
Skills, Experience and Attributes:
* Strong analytical and problem solving skills, with the ability to identify trends through operational and transactional data.
* Experience in Ecommerce, fraud prevention, risk management, business analysis or operational improvement roles.
* Experience producing reports, dashboards or management summaries that translate complex data into clear, actionable recommendations.
* Experience conducting root cause analysis and recommending practical solutions to improve processes, controls or ways of working.
* Ability to manage and coordinate activity across multiple teams and stakeholders in a fast paced, multi market environment.
* Familiarity with payment, order management, logistics or customer service processes.
* Good Excel and data analysis skills, with experience using reporting tools or dashboards.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate clearly with business teams and management.
* Experience with chargebacks, payment fraud, delivery fraud, return abuse, refund abuse, account takeover investigations or fraud prevention platforms would be an advantage.
* Familiarity with tools such as Riskified, Salesforce, Adyen, PayPal, Klarna, SQL, Power BI or similar solutions would be beneficial.
* Curious, detail oriented and data driven, with strong ownership, accountability and a kaizen mindset.
* Able to challenge existing processes constructively, influence stakeholders without direct authority and drive continuous improvement.
What we can offer you:
* 26 days holiday + 8 bank holiday
* 30% staff Discount
