About the Role

As an intern at Takeda, you will have the opportunity to tackle real-world business challenges, build valuable connections, engage in many events and activities and receive guidance from experienced mentors as you develop your skills and advance your professional career.

Project Outline
* You will be working in our international, friendly process development team in plasma derived therapies
* You will be assigned to support a workstream of a major project dealing with purification unit operations e.g. tangential flow filtration, depth filtration, chromatography and similar separation techniques and technologies
* Using your theoretical knowledge of you will help perform, analyze, evaluate, model, document and reports on the particular topics
* The planned output of the internship will be master thesis
* The earliest start date for the internship will be April 2026 with an anticipated length of 6 months

What you bring to Takeda:

* Curiosity and collaboration skills will ensure you effectively support projects and make a valuable impact
* Active enrollment at a university or a university of applied sciences or a recent graduate (within the last 12 months) in chemical engineering, biotechnology or similar
* Using appropriate communication, you will provide updates and reports on your activities, essential for steering your work and integrating into the team
* Must be authorized to work in Austria without the need for additional immigration sponsorship, housing allowance or relocation requirements.
* Preferably skills in downstream processing, statistical and mechanistical modelling, tangential flow filtration, depth filtration, chromatography and similar

Motivated employees must be remunerated appropriately. The minimum salary for this important and responsible position is EUR2,010.75 gross per month (full time, collective wage agreement for the chemical industry). The actual remuneration package will be guided by your professional experience and your qualifications, so increased payment is possible.
