Are you ready to contribute to the communication strategy of a major player in the chemical industry and take part in impactful projects?
The Polymers Business Unit within TotalEnergies' Refining & Chemicals branch is looking for a VIE to join its Communication / Compliance / HR team.
This international BU operates production sites in Europe, the US, the Middle East, and Asia. Polymers are essential for manufacturing plastics used in diverse sectors: food, healthcare, construction, automotive, piping, and more. Our research and technologies aim to enhance product properties in line with our strategy: rethink usage, reduce impact, recycle, and foster circularity.
In a European petrochemical market facing competitiveness challenges, TotalEnergies continues to invest in circularity and focuses on differentiation through high value-added products.

Your Mission:

As part of the Communication team and in close collaboration with marketing and technical experts, you will contribute to the Business Unit's B2B communication strategy and ensure that internal and external materials reflect the defined vision.

Strategic Communication

* Conduct active competitive intelligence and perform positioning analysis to identify differentiation levers and optimize the commercial communication strategy.
* Participate in developing a communication plan aligned with business objectives and with the Business Unit's B2B communication strategy.
* Ensure message consistency across internal teams, partners, and all channels.

Content Creation

* Draft and update communication materials (EDL, press releases…).
* Create clear, educational, and impactful content (print, web…).
* Support teams in building communication awareness and culture.
* Strengthen presence on social media (LinkedIn, professional associations) and in specialized press.

You will work closely with a Multimedia & Event Communication Officer and the Marketing Team.

Candidate Profile

Expected qualifications:
* Master's degree in communication, marketing or equivalent education

Technical skills:
* Interest in issues related to plastics and environmental impact
* B2B communication
* Excellent writing skills in French and English
* Ability to identify market trends and developments
* Ability to analyze competitive positioning
* Identify differentiation arguments

Computing skills:
* Very good knowledge of digital softwares (Office 365, Adobe suite and Canva)

Languages:
* English: level C1
* French: level C1
