iMove, the Sanofi VIE Program, is available to citizens of the European Economic Area (EU + Norway, Liechtenstein and Iceland) aged between 18 and 28.

We are looking for a candidate for a VIE mission of:

Scientist high-throughput Biophysical Characterization - VIE Contract (W/M/D)

Target start date: 01/06/2024

We are looking for a self-motivated, team-oriented scientist (VIE contract) to enhance our high-throughput platform technology efforts for multi-specific protein therapeutics engineering. In this role, you will establish and automate a new biophysical screening technologies as well as alternative expression systems for the optimization of therapeutic protein candidates.

During this VIE you will:

- Collaborate with research teams to establish and automate a novel biophysical method to determine kinetics and multi?-?parameter stability of protein-based therapeutics.
- Plan and execute experiments and research activities.
- Work closely with internal partners to apply state of the art data base and bioinformatics support solutions for data management and analysis.
- Prepare, analyze, and present data at internal meetings for team discussions and decision making.
- Document experiments and results in electronic notebook and databases.
- Openly share scientific expertise and collaboratively help the team to formulate solutions.
- Maintain the laboratory consistent with departmental and company requirements

Requisiti del candidato:

Requirements:

Education:
- Master of Biotechnology, Molecular Biology, Biochemistry or equivalent.

Experience:
- Sound understanding of biophysical methods for protein analysis, including surface plasmon resonance (SPR) and thermal stability analysis (nDSF). Working knowledge of at least one of the technologies would be a plus.
- Experience with protein expression and optimization of expression systems.
- Data management and analysis skills (profound Excel knowledge indispensable).

Skills:
- Good in Math / Statistics and motivated to work with large data sets.
- Strong organizational skills, discipline in daily activity planning and prioritizing.
- A positive can-do attitude, passion for lab work and technology, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a highly interactive, fast-paced, team environment.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
