Job Description:

For one of our teams based in Vienna we are currently looking to hire a Lab Coordinator with a focus on activities in upstream process development. Your main responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
* Main point of contact for lab activities and execute small lab tasks such as equipment calibrations.
* Place orders of lab equipment and consumables and follow-up on delivery.
* Act as first responder for technical area and keep inventory up to date.
* Coordinate requests, identify and transfer questions to the right contact person.

Qualifications:

For this interesting opportunity we are looking for somebody with
* Diploma in molecular biology or pharmaceutical science or similar field..
* Previous academic or industrial lab coordination experience desirable.
* General understanding of lab workflow.
* Strong computer proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Access, etc.) required.
* Fluency German and English, written and spoken is needed.
* Strong communication skills with proactive and solution oriented
* Good problem solving and troubleshooting skills.

The collective agreement minimum salary (employment group (Vewendungsgruppe) III) for this position is at least EUR 2155,43(2023). Due to the responsibilities and the challenging tasks and with appropriate qualifications, there will be an appropriate overpayment.
