Overview

The Regional Account Manager is part of the Sales Away From Home Team and is responsible for developing and implementing state-of-the-art account management within sub-wholesalers, vending customers, regional brewers, and local channel clients in the northern part of the country and the Brussels region (Convenience, Forecourt, non-food-led stores).
The Regional Account Manager works closely with sub-wholesalers and regional brewers to secure and grow business opportunities, building strong customer relationships to support long-term growth.
This role requires strong selling and negotiation skills, best-practice sharing, and effective networking to identify and convert new clients from competitors, with a focus on long-term relationships and creating win-win outcomes.
Responsibilities

* Profound customer understanding (background, wholesaler, Sub wholesaler structure, customer strategy, channel structure, etc.)
* Deliver AOP objectives for our food portfolio w/I budgets (volume, gross sales, net revenue, NOPBT)
* Negotiation, implementation and follow up of agreements
* Defend, secure and develop his/her volume portfolio and negotiate contracts
* Identify and capture business opportunities within allocated accounts and new accounts
* Perfect implementation of Perfect Store guidelines
* Close monitoring of customer investment (budgets).
* Develop and execute activations within budget limits together with customers to create additional volumes
* Optimization of assortments and introduction of new products
* Analytical skills. : Use market data (eg. sub wholesale data, Customer data, etc) to leverage impactful business review with his/her clients.
* Basic P&L understanding to negotiate pay for performance contracts
Qualifications

* A first experience within Away from home channel or account management program/internship
* Strong communication, persuasion and relationship management skills with the ability to interact and communicate with different levels in the company and within the customer
* Excellent negotiator with a feeling for facts and figures
* Result-oriented and driven towards growth
* Strong administration and analytical skills, problem solving abilities, including data driven decision making
* Entrepreneurial mindset with strategic thinking capabilities
* A "can do " mentality with a strong Team spirit
* Flexible worker with strategic mindset
* Excellent excel and powerpoint skills
* Bi-lingual: Dutch native - English ( basics) French is an added value
Als Regional Account Manager maak je deel uit van ons dynamische Sales Away From Home-team. Jij bent dé drijvende kracht achter het ontwikkelen en implementeren van state-of-the-art accountmanagement bij subgroothandels, vendingklanten, regionale brouwerijen en lokale kanaalklanten in het noorden van het land en de regio Brussel (Convenience, Forecourt, non-food-led winkels).
Je bouwt sterke partnerships op, spot nieuwe kansen en zorgt voor duurzame groei. Samen met subgroothandels en brouwerijen creëer je win-winsituaties en til je onze business naar een hoger niveau.

* Je realiseert onze AOP-doelstellingen: Je zorgt dat volume, bruto omzet, netto omzet en NOPBT binnen de budgetten worden behaald.
* Je onderhandelt en implementeert contracten: Je sluit overeenkomsten af, volgt ze nauwkeurig op en zorgt voor een perfecte uitvoering.
* Je verdedigt en ontwikkelt je portfolio: Je bewaakt bestaande volumes en onderhandelt nieuwe contracten om groei te realiseren.
* Je identificeert nieuwe kansen: Je spot mogelijkheden bij toegewezen accounts én nieuwe klanten en zet deze om in concrete resultaten.
* Je zorgt voor flawless execution: Je voert de Perfect Store-richtlijnen uit bij alle klanten.
* Je beheert klantinvesteringen: Je volgt budgetten nauwkeurig op en zorgt dat investeringen optimaal renderen.
* Je ontwikkelt activaties: Samen met klanten bedenk en implementeer je acties binnen budget om extra volume te genereren.
* Je optimaliseert assortimenten: Je introduceert nieuwe producten en zorgt dat het aanbod perfect aansluit bij de klant.
* Je analyseert marktdata: Je gebruikt subgroothandels- en klantgegevens om impactvolle business reviews te presenteren.
* Je onderhandelt op basis van P&L: Je past je financiële kennis toe om pay-for-performancecontracten af te sluiten

* Eerste ervaring in Away From Home of accountmanagement (stage telt ook!).
* Sterke communicatie- en onderhandelingsvaardigheden, met gevoel voor cijfers.
* Resultaatgericht, ondernemend en strategisch ingesteld.
* Analytisch en probleemoplossend, met een can-do-mentaliteit.
* Teamspeler met commerciële drive.
* Uitstekende kennis van Excel & PowerPoint.
* Taalvaardig: Nederlands (moedertaal), Engels (basis), Frans is een plus.
