As our new Project Portfolio Manager, you will develop and maintain streamlined portfolio and governance processes and continuously adapt them towards lean and fit-for-purpose ways of working in an international operations environment.
The team you will be part of
The position is located in the Ballerup, Denmark. You will be the Project Portfolio manager for our Global Customer Experience function working in close partnership with an experienced cross-functional team on customer support and aftermarket services enablement and delivery. You will report directly to the VP, Global Customer Experience.
Your contribution is appreciated, and you will:
* Manage the GCX project portfolio to realize GCX, Global Operations and company objectives tied to our domain
* Oversee and track projects in the portfolio with GCX management team ensuring alignment on deliverables, resources and outcomes through project approval, prioritization and portfolio reviews using project portfolio tool, process and relevant execution model principles
* Act as the key liaison between GCX and the Global Operations Strategy Office on portfolio topics, in line with the agreed execution model, ensuring effective coordination between GCX and other Global Operations or GN functions
* Improve and mature portfolio and project management practices across function to ensure customer-centric, scalable and fit-for-purpose solutions as well as timely and cost-effective execution
* Prepare and run select GCX cross-functional projects when assigned, from scoping and planning to follow-up on delivery and results
* Assist in the planning, preparation and execution of change management activities and communication for key projects initiatives in GCX and Global Operations
* Support planning and execution of the GCX global meeting portfolio including agendas, decision material, pre-reads and action tracking
To perform well in the role, we imagine that you:
* Bachelor's or master's degree in a relevant field (Business Administration, Economics, Engineering or similar)
* Several years of experience within project and portfolio management in operations-intensive and customer centric environments
* Experience in portfolio management and project management certification from established frameworks and methodologies
* Extensive and demonstrated stakeholder management experience, central corporate functions and cross-functional project teams in an international context
* Communicate priorities and decisions clearly to stakeholders and teams
* Interpersonal skills and ability to involve the right people at the right time and build trusting relationships
* Creative and action-oriented, advancing plans and resolving obstacles within a rapidly evolving context
* Comfortable working with all management levels including senior executives, and able to challenge and support decision-making
* Super-user in project and work management tools (e.g. Monday.com, MS Planner, Jira, Asana or similar) for planning, tracking and reporting
