Account Manager - Water, Environment & Consumer Packaged Goods
At Schneider Electric, we work every day to enable a more sustainable and efficient world. Within our Water & Environment business, we support everything from municipal water and wastewater utilities to industrial and manufacturing customers-delivering value through software, digital platforms, industrial automation, and consultative solution sales. We are now in an exciting growth phase and are looking for an Account Manager - Water, Environment & CPG to strengthen our market position in Finland. This role combines key account management, solution selling, and customer-centric execution, with a clear ambition to expand our footprint within Consumer Packaged Goods, including breweries, dairies, food production, pharmaceuticals, and personal or consumer chemical manufacturers.
As an Account Manager, you will act as a trusted advisor to end customers, owning the commercial relationship while orchestrating internal and external stakeholders to deliver measurable customer outcomes.
You will work closely with application experts, system integrators, EPCs, and partners, ensuring disciplined execution across complex sales cycles-while always keeping the customer's business goals at the center.
Key Tasks & Areas of Responsibility
* Manage and grow a portfolio of key accounts within Water & Environment and strategically expand into Consumer Packaged Goods
* Own relationships with end customers, from operational teams to senior and C-level stakeholders
* Identify, qualify, and drive solution-based opportunities, from early shaping to closing
* Lead customer meetings, workshops, needs analyses, and value discussions focused on software, digitalization, automation, and sustainability
* Apply a consultative, value-driven sales approach, positioning Schneider Electric's full technology and software portfolio
* Develop and execute account plans with clear growth priorities and execution discipline
* Prepare and manage quotations, tenders, and solution proposals in collaboration with technical specialists
* Build long-term partnerships with system integrators, OEMs, and EPCs
* Represent Schneider Electric at industry events, trade fairs, and customer forums
* Contribute to major Finnish and Nordic projects in digital transformation, water efficiency, energy optimization, and sustainable manufacturing
Qualifications
* Proven experience in software, technology, and solution selling, preferably within industrial automation (but across a broader technology portfolio)
* Strong background in account management and key account management, with direct responsibility for end customers
* Experience selling to or working with industrial, process, or manufacturing customers, ideally including CPG sectors (food & beverage, dairy, pharma, personal/consumer chemicals)
* Demonstrated ability to manage complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles
* Strong commercial mindset combined with structured execution and follow-through
* Experience with digital platforms, industrial software, automation, or process control is a strong advantage
* Fluency in Finnish and English
