The Role…
At Soho House, a Runner plays a vital supporting role in ensuring the smooth and efficient flow of service between the kitchen and front-of-house teams. As a key link in the dining experience, the Runner is responsible for delivering food and beverages promptly, maintaining cleanliness and organisation across the service areas. .
Your main responsibility is to assist the waiting staff and make sure the member gets a superior experience. You will deliver food orders from the kitchen (or drinks orders from the bar) to members' tables, acting as a point of contact between the kitchen/bar and the floor.

Key duties…
* Bring food/drink quickly from the kitchen/bar to its respective location in the restaurants and deliver to members.
* Maintain a spotless, pristine work environment
* Provides service to and is accountable for an assigned section.
* Develop relationships with members to provide personalized service.
* Polishing cutlery ensuring they are ready for service.
* Preparing any additions to tables in advance (preparing lemon wraps, condiments, butter portions etc)
* Perform opening and closing procedures including but not limited to the set up and break down of stations.
* Ensure all service equipment is handled carefully and stored correctly.
* Maintain a spotless and pristine working environment.
* Attending regular meetings with front and back of house teams to learn about any menu changes and specials alongside daily tastings.

What we are looking for...
* 2-3 years in a similar high-end dining environment
* Excellent food and beverage knowledge, including wine service
* Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills with a hands-on approach
* Confident, polished, and professional demeanour
* Exceptional communication and organisational skills
* Familiarity with POS systems and reservation software
