The division You will join the Group Security division, defining the security standards to be applied by AXA entities, overseeing the overall security posture across the Group and providing centralized services to support entities (Crisis Management, Security Operations Centre, etc.). Throughout AXA Group, the security community represents composed of 1000 security professionals, working daily to protect our customers, operations, brand and people. To achieve this, we have gathered our three security disciplines: Information Security, Physical Security and Operational Resilience. Our main missions: Monitor the Security Threat Landscape Define and oversee Security Standards and Strategy implementation across the Group Drive local security objectives with C-Level executive (COO, CIO, CTO, CFO…) of AXA entities Ensure the security of Group Operations as an entity Provide centralized security services and products to AXA entities AXA Group Security is divided in 4 main blocks : Corporate functions (Group Mandate) : Security Advisory and Standards, Security Governance, Security Risk & Assurance, Security Strategy and Awareness CyberDefense (Group security services and products provider) Group Operations Security (Security of the hosting entity) Corporate Chief Security Officers (Oversight of entities' security) : Corporate Centre, European Markets, International Markets About the job Job purpose AXA Group Operations and Cyber Defense are spearheading a strategic initiative to develop and deploy a comprehensive global cybersecurity product designed to safeguard AXA Group and its entities. As part of this transformative project, we are seeking a highly skilled Cybersecurity Expert to lead the technical aspects of the product's evolution, focusing on the migration and deployment of WAAP and DDoS protection solutions. What You Will Do: Drive the technical strategy for the migration and deployment of WAAP and DDoS security solutions across AXA entities. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and optimal performance of the security solutions. Assess current security posture, identify gaps, and implement improvements aligned with global cybersecurity standards. Support the evolution of the product to ensure it meets the dynamic security needs of AXA Group. What We Are Looking For: Proven experience in managing WAAP and DDoS protection solutions in large-scale enterprise environments. Strong technical expertise in cybersecurity solutions, network security, and threat mitigation. Experience in migration projects, particularly related to security infrastructure. Excellent collaboration and communication skills to work with diverse teams and stakeholders. A proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement. Main missions Your responsibilities include: As a DDoS & WAAP specialist, your key responsibilities will include: Demonstrating deep technical expertise in DDoS and WAAP products available on the market, with proven experience collaborating on Akamai solutions. Reviewing, validating, and challenging security solutions from various providers to ensure optimal protection. Managing the onboarding roadmap for different entities, ensuring seamless integration. Reviewing, validating, and enhancing security policies related to DDoS (L7) and WAF configurations. Raising service requests and incident tickets with vendors or providers to address issues promptly. Delivering incident reports related to DDoS and WAAP migration programs. Coordinating meetings with global entities to facilitate communication and alignment. Analyzing logs and security data to identify threats and improve security posture. Creating KPIs and security dashboards to monitor security effectiveness and compliance. Collaborating closely with Cyber Defense teams on security requests and incident handling. Working with Architecture teams to ensure security solutions align with enterprise standards. Deliverables: Detailed product/service descriptions High-level and low-level design documents Onboarding process documentation Roadmap onboarding documentation Security report reviews and analysis Expected skills & experience We are looking for someone with the following experience and skills: Experience Over 5 years of managing DDoS and WAF/WAAP solutions in large enterprise environments, with hands-on Akamai or alternative expertise. Leading security migration projects, including planning, validation, and post-deployment support. Collaborating with global teams and vendors to ensure security standards and incident resolution. Technical skills Expertise in DDoS mitigation techniques and WAAP solutions, especially Akamai products. Proficient in log analysis, security dashboards, and designing security architectures. Skilled in incident management, service requests, and validation of security policies. Soft skills / transversal skills Strong communication and stakeholder management across multicultural teams. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills to assess security data and threats. Collaborative team player with proactive, adaptable, and detail-oriented approach.
