Responsibilities
As an R&D Associate Analyst, you will ensure the integrity and high-quality documentation of products, recipes, and processes within SAP Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) and ERP systems.
You will partner with project teams to support Innovation, Productivity, Brand Stewardship, and +PEP initiatives, ensuring full compliance with the Technical Stage Gate process.
This role plays a key part in executing regional Research & Development (R&D) business processes within SAP systems, driving agility and operational efficiency across cross-functional teams.
You will also act as a subject matter expert for specification management within the end-to-end creation process in SAP, while safeguarding the confidentiality of R&D and product data.
As an R&D Assoc Analyst, you will:
* Provide training and troubleshooting support for SAP (PLM) users.
* Support end users in delivering accurate, digitalized product specifications, ensuring availability for manufacturing and supply chain operations.
* Transfer R&D specifications into SAP by creating and updating Material Master records and Bills of Materials (BOMs).
* Participate in data cleansing and maintenance activities as part of regional digital transformation initiatives across Mexico and Central America.
* Ensure compliance with internal controls and information security standards.
* Contribute to process automation and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency.
Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Chemistry, Biology, Biochemistry, Chemical Sciences, Data Analytics, or a related field.
* 6 months - 1 year of experience working with SAP (Product Lifecycle Management and/or Enterprise Resource Planning) in R&D, manufacturing, or process-driven environments.
* Experience supporting product development, manufacturing, process improvement, or data analysis activities.
* Basic knowledge of database management and data visualization tools such as Excel or Power BI.
* Advanced English proficiency.
