Responsibilities

The Opportunity
This role will support the Experience Consumer Research team located in Mexico Capability Center (MCC) to ensure exceptional Data is provided in support of Sensory Consumer Experience. This role will analyze data for Consumer Research studies, and coordinate with in-market MCC employees, to develop clear plans for projects to be completed on-time, in-full and on-budget with proper quality controls in place.

Your Impact
As R&D Assoc Analyst your functions would consist of … L
* Work closely with key Category Lead and Programmer to analyze the results for each Consumer research study, while ensuring best practices.

* Leverage existing global Consumer Research Transformation and Data Science & Analytics SOP's.

* Seamlessly work across Analysis programs, R and python (pandas, scikit-learn, numpy, matplotlib) to analyze results and generate result summary tables for the Reporters.

* Based on research method, apply the appropriate analysis procedure (ANOVA, paired T-Test, Fisher's LSD, Cochran's Q test, mean drop penalty analysis, etc.).

* Assess quality of data via various SOP's and identify consumer outliers.

* Share data analysis outcome with Category Lead and Reporter. Provide revisions and additional builds as requested by CS category scientist and/or Category Lead.

* Partner closely with Program Manager, Category Lead, Programmer and Reporter to identify new methods and processes to increase efficiency and quality.

* Work visibly & transparently in Microsoft Teams and other office 365 tools.

Qualifications

Who Are We Looking For?
Must Have
* BS in STEM (e.g. Data Science, economics, sensory science, statistics, engineering).
* Working knowledge of statistical analysis programs (R and python - pandas); and M365 (Excel, PowerQuery).
* Ability to interpret complex data and distil into useful and actionable information.
* Ability to rapidly learn computer applications/programs & navigate systems.
* Good communication skills in Spanish and English- oral and written (e.g. communication on Teams, external and internal to PepsiCo, managing with other support group functions, etc.)
* Ability to manage time effectively across multiple priorities and projects requiring a high degree of organizational and communication skills to ensure requests are delivered in a timely manner.
* Takes initiative on assigned tasks and accountabilities with minimal supervision.
* High degree of ownership, initiative, and intellectual curiosity.
* Attention to detail.
Nice to have:
* Experienced in quantitative consumer research, designs and systems.
* Systems: PowerBI, XLStat.
* Programming languages: SQL, python (scikit-learn, numpy, matplotlib, statsmodels).
* Knowledge with Azure DevOps and Databricks.
