Overview We are looking for a Quality Engineer (TypeScript/Playwright + K6 + SQL) who thrives in modern, data-driven environments and is passionate about building scalable automation frameworks across UI, APIs, performance, and security. This role is ideal for someone who understands quality as an engineering discipline - not just test execution - and who enjoys working across microservices architectures, DevOps pipelines, and cloud environments. You will play a key role in elevating automation maturity, ensuring system stability, and validating data integrity in Snowflake and Cleanroom environments. Responsibilities Your Impact Design and develop UI test automation frameworks using Playwright Build and maintain API automation frameworks (Playwright, Axios, Postman or similar) Implement performance testing strategies using K6, analyzing and optimizing application behavior under load Conduct security, load, stress, and resilience testing Validate data integrity across SQL & NoSQL databases Perform validation in Snowflake and Cleanroom environments, ensuring privacy and compliance standards Integrate Continuous Testing (CT) into CI/CD pipelines in collaboration with DevOps teams Automate workflows using GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or Azure DevOps Produce high-quality documentation, reporting, and automation best practices Contribute to quality strategy in modern microservices-based architectures Qualifications Your Skills and Experience Strong experience in QA Automation and Performance Testing Solid expertise in Playwright (TypeScript/JavaScript preferred) Hands-on experience in API automation (Postman, RestSharp, Axios or similar) Proven experience using K6 for performance testing Experience in security testing Strong database testing skills with SQL proficiency Hands-on experience working with Snowflake Understanding of Cleanroom environments, data privacy and compliance concepts Experience working in microservices architectures Strong knowledge of DevOps practices and Continuous Testing Experience integrating automation in CI/CD pipelines Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) Strong analytical mindset and problem-solving skills Clear and effective communication skills Set Yourself Apart With Experience with Docker and Kubernetes Exposure to AI/ML testing strategies Knowledge of SRE principles Experience with observability tools such as Prometheus, DataDog, Grafana, or New Relic Additional Details Contract type: Contractor Duration: 6 months (temporary contract) with high possibility of renewal Location: Open to candidates based in Colombia, Costa Rica, Mexico, Argentina, Peru, and Brazil Additional information An inclusive workplace that promotes diversity and collaboration.
