The SSNA Programme Management Office (JPMO) integrates various aspects of technology, approvals and management arrangement and any dependencies. It is a collaborative endeavour between the Intelligent Client working jointly with Industry led by the Industrial Partners

What you will be doing:
With this exciting opportunity you will get a chance to be involved with the following:
* Day-to-day leadership of the JPMO ADEs team
* Building effective relationships with ADE leads within BAES, RR, Babcock and SDA to maintain the programme Joint MDAL and support its maturation through feedback of performance trends
* Implementing effective assurance activities to provide confidence in the quality and content of ADE inputs supplied by the Parties and outputs delivered by the JPMO ADEs Team
* The establishment and continuous improvement of processes, capabilities, and tools/systems related to ADEs
* Establishing a common approach for the processing and control of ADEs to ensure consistency across all Parties

To be successful in this role you will need to meet the following criteria:
* Significant experience on major programmes with an understanding of ADEs and associated standard approaches and methodologies and toolsets.
* Excellent communication and presentation skills - good skills in MS Office Suite especially Powerpoint and Excel
* Desirable - knowledge of the UK Defence Sector and Submarines Enterprise
* Proactive mind-set with a can-do approach
* Has the ability to keep things simple and remove complexity - communicates with clarity, brevity and simplicity, sets simple, tangible priorities, eliminates complexity for faster customer delivery
* Explores different ways of doing things by delegating decision making effectively, exploring options to overcome obstacles and responds quickly to changing business circumstances.

To work for Rolls-Royce Submarines you need to hold a Security Check (SC) clearance without any caveats to that clearance. Rolls-Royce will support the application for Security Clearance if you don't currently already have this in place.
Due to the nature of work the business conducts and the protection of certain assets, you must hold a UK nationality. Any dual nationals will require additional scrutiny and background checks prior to commencing work with RRSL.
