Job Description:
As a Delegate Sales Manager, you will play a critical role in driving delegate attendance and revenue generation for their events & exhibitions. Your primary responsibilities will include:
* Developing and implementing a comprehensive delegate sales strategy to meet or exceed revenue targets.
* Identifying and prospecting potential delegate leads through various channels, including industry databases, social media platforms, and direct outreach.
* Building and maintaining relationships with key decision-makers and industry stakeholders to secure delegate registrations.
* Conducting sales presentations and negotiations to convert leads into registered delegates.
* Providing exceptional customer service to delegates, addressing their inquiries, and ensuring a seamless registration process.
* Collaborating with the marketing team to create compelling promotional materials and campaigns to drive delegate registrations.
* Monitoring and analyzing sales performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
* Keeping up-to-date with industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics to position our event competitively.
Qualifications:
* Proven experience in delegate sales, event sales, or B2B sales
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and negotiate effectively.
* Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
* Target-driven mindset with a track record of exceeding revenue goals.
* Proficient in using CRM software and other sales tools.
