At Grand Hyatt Barcelona, one of the city's newest luxury landmarks, we are looking for an analytical, detail-oriented, and commercially driven Revenue & Sales Analyst to join our Commercial team on a maternity leave replacement.

About the Role

The Revenue & Sales Analyst supports the hotel's commercial strategy through data analysis, reporting, and operational support to the Revenue Management and Sales & Marketing teams.
The role provides analytical insights and performance monitoring to optimize pricing strategies, inventory management, and business development, ensuring clear visibility of the hotel's overall commercial performance.
This position contributes to strategic decision-making by monitoring market trends, analyzing production data, overseeing system accuracy, and coordinating commercial processes across departments.
This role is a temporary maternity leave cover

Main Responsibilities

Sales & Marketing Responsibilities

* Prepare, update, and distribute recurring commercial and sales performance reports.
* Produce reports such as backlog reports, market distribution reports, RevMax presentations, and sales performance reports.
* Prepare lead analysis reports, conversion analysis, and market production reports.
* Prepare weekly commercial communications with performance insights, market trends, and identified opportunities.
* Analyze conversion ratios and propose improvements to sales processes.
* Support the preparation of commercial presentations and management reports.
* Support end-of-month (EOM) reporting.

Revenue Management Responsibilities

* Support demand analysis, pricing strategy, and market positioning of the hotel.
* Analyze market trends, segment production, and booking behavior.
* Monitor daily pickup and demand evolution.
* Analyze hotel performance against the market using benchmarking tools such as CoSTAR.
* Analyze geo-mix, distribution channels, and segment evolution.
* Support the implementation and monitoring of pricing and revenue management strategies.
* Support end-of-month (EOM) reporting.

Systems & Tools Management

* Maintain commercial and revenue management systems up to date.
* Support inventory and availability management across distribution systems.
* Manage reports and data within revenue management and business intelligence tools.
* Review correct configuration of rate codes, segmentation, and revenue buckets.
* Support data control, validation, and data cleansing within commercial systems.

Skills & Competencies

* Strong analytical skills with a data-driven mindset.
* Advanced Excel and reporting tool proficiency.
* Knowledge of revenue management systems and hotel distribution.
* Ability to interpret market trends and demand behavior.
* Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
* Ability to clearly communicate insights to commercial and management teams.
* Proactive, structured, and solution-oriented approach.
