Main purpose of the role

The Deputy Plant Controller is responsible for the controlling of a plant in order to guarantee and optimize the plant's financial performance and competitiveness. Supports the Plant Controller on all below activities.

Essential responsibilities and duties

As a Deputy Plant Controller, your main responsibilities are as follow :

* Ensure compliance to all financial procedures
* Develop, execute and control internal finance procedures including spending authorization in accordance with Group procedures and policies
* Ensure site activities are compliant with (COMPANY NAME) finance related procedures (product flow, inventory, routings, …)and internal control basics
* Provide reliable financial / controlling informations
* Participate in financial forecasting processes, providing data for budget, periodic forecast, …
* Collect and manage data consolidation and reporting, ensuring reliability, consistency, transparency and delay compliance
* Update informations into the ERP System
* Ensure reliability of standard costing
* Contribute to controlling analysis including variance analysis/standard costs, margin/programs, plant budgetary control …
* Collaborate with Shared Service Center obtaining/providing proper finance information
* Contribute to the control and management of the plant's operating cahflow (capex, inventories,overdues)

Qualifications and position requirements

* Education : Business School or Engineering background with a Finance degree or Masters degree in Finance
* Knowledge and experience :
* First experience in controlling, or significant apprenticeship experience in controlling preferably in industrial environment
* Computer literate and good knowledge of IT systems
* Solid accounting knowledge
* Strong teamwork
* Languages: Good communication skills

Special authority

External authority

Should you hold a specific Senior Management position, you will receive your power of authority from the (COMPANY NAME) Board of Directors. A copy of the Directors' resolution as well as the matrix reflecting the Proxy holder's signature as acceptance of the delegation will be placed in the employee file.

Internal authority

Delegation for Financial Matters needs to be accepted and signed by the employee as well as by the N+1 who would have received the same delegation from their N+1. A copy of the matrix will be placed in the employee file.

Delegation for Banking Release and Banking System Administrator is given by two Senior Managers. A separate matrix is signed by the delegators as well as the proxy holders, and placed on the employee file
