Industrial Design Intern

Livspace is looking for creative and passionate Furniture Design Interns to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for students or recent graduates eager to gain hands-on experience in furniture and home retail design.
Key Responsibilities
* Assist in designing furniture concepts across living, dining, bedroom, and storage categories.
* Conduct research on global and domestic furniture trends, materials, finishes, and consumer preferences.
* Support the creation of mood boards, sketches, technical drawings, and presentations.
* Develop 3D models and renderings using SketchUp, Rhino, Blender, AutoCAD, or similar tools.
* Collaborate with sourcing, merchandising, and visual merchandising teams.
* Assist in sample development, product documentation, and seasonal collection planning.
* Maintain design libraries, material boards, and references.
Preferred Candidate Profile
* Pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's/Master's degree in Furniture Design, Product Design, Industrial Design, or Interior Design.
* Strong interest in furniture and home retail.
* Proficiency in SketchUp, Rhino, AutoCAD, Blender, Adobe Photoshop, or Illustrator.
* Good understanding of furniture materials, construction, finishes, and space aesthetics.
* Strong visualization, presentation, and communication skills.
* Portfolio showcasing furniture or product design projects will be an added advantage.
