Job Summary:**

FTE Mexicana S.A. de C.V. Valeo Puebla is seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Process Engineer Trainee to support our engineering team in optimizing and improving manufacturing processes. This entry-level position offers a valuable opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic industrial environment.

Job Responsibilities:**

* Assist senior engineers in analyzing existing manufacturing processes to identify areas for improvement in efficiency, quality, and cost.
* Participate in the design, development, and implementation of new processes and equipment.
* Collect and analyze process data, utilizing statistical tools to identify trends and deviations.
* Develop and update process documentation, including flowcharts, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and work instructions.
* Support troubleshooting and problem-solving efforts related to process issues.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, quality, and maintenance, to ensure smooth process operations.
* Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and projects.
* Learn and apply relevant industry standards, safety regulations, and company policies.
* Conduct experiments and pilot runs to validate process changes and new technologies.

Job Qualifications:**

* Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Spanish.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
* Basic understanding of statistical process control (SPC) principles is a plus.
* Eagerness to learn and a strong work ethic.
* Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
* Proactive and self-motivated with a strong attention to detail.
* Prior internship or project experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting is an advantage.
