Are you curious about how brands grow, categories win, and shopper insights translate into commercial action? Do you want to build hands-on experience in Category Management in a dynamic FMCG environment?
If you are eager to learn, contribute from day one, and develop strong commercial capabilities in a supportive team, this opportunity is for you.

We are looking for a Category Management Intern to join our Iberia Category team, supporting the Category Manager. In this role, you will gain practical exposure to retail strategy, shopper marketing, and category planning across major Spanish accounts, while contributing to key category and brand initiatives.
You will support the team in transforming data into insights, helping execute category plans, and coordinating across functions to ensure strong delivery of commercial priorities. This is a role designed to combine learning and contribution, giving you the opportunity to build core skills in a structured and fast-paced environment.

What your role is:
As Category Management Intern, you will:
* Support the Iberia Category Manager in day-to-day category and brand activities across key workstreams.
* Assist in the analysis of Nielsen data and other external market sources, drawing initial observations and highlighting relevant trends for the team.
* Help monitor competitor activity, shelf dynamics, and channel trends to support category recommendations and commercial decision-making.
* Support the preparation of category presentations and fact-based selling stories for internal and customer meetings.
* Provide day-to-day support in the execution of the Iberia Category plan, including innovation, communication, promotional strategy, distribution, and merchandising initiatives.
* Assist in the development and production of point-of-sale materials to support in-store execution and shopper activation.
* Support the Joint Category Planning (JCP) process by helping prepare materials, coordinate inputs, and track actions and follow-ups.
* Contribute to budget tracking and basic reporting across Category workstreams.
* Collaborate with Sales and Marketing colleagues on cross-functional projects, gaining exposure to customer dynamics and commercial priorities.
* Support category and brand budget control activities, helping ensure accurate tracking and visibility of spend.
* Contribute to the development of commercial knowledge, shopper understanding, and category thinking through active participation in team initiatives.
What you'll bring to the team:
You are a proactive, curious, and collaborative learner who combines analytical thinking with strong attention to detail and an interest in how commercial decisions are made in a fast-moving business environment.
* Currently studying for or recently completed a Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, or a related field.
* Strong interest in Category Management, Marketing, Sales, and the FMCG industry.
* Analytical mindset, with the ability to interpret data and identify relevant trends and insights.
* Good attention to detail and ability to manage tasks in an organized way.
* Strong communication skills and willingness to work across different teams and stakeholders.
* Proactive attitude and eagerness to learn in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
* Ability to manage multiple priorities with structure and discipline.
* Good knowledge of Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
* Fluency in Spanish and a good level of English.
