SCOPE

As a Communications and Experience Intern in the Office of the CIO, you'll develop strategies to strengthen awareness of Information Technology initiatives and motivate change through communications at a No. 1 ranked global company.

RESPONSIBILITIES
* Partner with teams to identify goals/objectives of communications, target audience, relevant timing, and secure approvals as needed
* Create and update written forms of communications to promote technology initiatives ensuring the company is informed and prompt end-users to take actions as needed
* Create IT-related content to be featured on the company's intranet to help foster employee connection and improve employee engagement
* Update and monitor communication schedules to ensure messages are appropriately timed, relevant and consistent
* Help track and analyze email metrics to measure the success of communications
* Participate in the creation of communication plans to support the rollout of strategic technology projects to help achieve user adoption and a frictionless user experience
* Assist with communication needs of IT teams, including the creation of presentations and sourcing of visual assets
* Organize and develop tools and processes that enhance the team's ability to add value

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
* Excellent visual/verbal communication skills with an understanding of how to effectively communicate to different audiences
* Strong ability to think strategically to develop plans to deliver objectives and evaluate the outcome
* Understanding of editorial processes and communication practices (AP Style) * Proficiency working with the Microsoft suite of applications and presentation software
* Highly organized with strong administrative and time management skills; motivated and detail oriented
* Pursuing degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations or related field (or equivalent work experience)

PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS
* Experience managing digital platforms including blogs, intranet sites, content management systems, and/or mass email distributions
* Experience with digital content creation including videos, photos, and/or graphic design

Salary Range

(COMPANY NAME) is committed to providing its employees with an exciting career opportunity and competitive total compensation package. The firm's good faith and reasonable estimate of the possible salary range for this role at the time of posting is:
$20.00-$30.00
