What You Will Do
* Write and implement process work instructions and support project-oriented Facilities initiatives.
* Analyze data, research systems and processes, and manage clerical tasks such as data entry and spreadsheet management.
* Facilitate service requests and provide administrative support for meetings and leadership tasks.
* Support the in-house CMMS (Comprehensive Maintenance Management System) through data collection, tracking, and performance analysis.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including quality, production, safety, and engineering.

What You Will Learn
* Practical experience in maintaining and managing facilities, including utility systems, HVAC, plumbing, medical gas systems, and infrastructure.
* Insights into planned maintenance, energy and utility management, and the operation of security systems.
* Hands-on experience in project management, process improvement, and data analysis.
* Collaboration with various cross-functional teams in a professional environment.
* Organizational and administrative skills necessary to support departmental operations and leadership.

Qualifications You Must Have
* Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Project Management, Construction Management, or a related field, with an expected graduation date no earlier than September 2026.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
* Ability to prioritize tasks effectively and adapt to a changing work environment.

Qualifications We Prefer
* 3.0 GPA or above preferred
* Demonstrated experience as a team player with a proactive, "can-do" attitude.
* Exposure to facilities management processes or systems.
* Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a professional setting.

Location: This position is in East Hartford, CT and is an onsite role.

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products.

As part of our commitment to maintaining a secure hiring process, candidates may be asked to attend select steps of the interview process in-person at one of our office locations, regardless of whether the role is designated as on-site, hybrid or remote.
The salary range for this role is 37,000 USD - 82,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Hired applicants may be eligible for benefits, including but not limited to, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules, employee assistance program, Employee Scholar Program, parental leave, paid time off, and holidays. Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.

Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company's performance.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
