although swedish is an official langauge in finland do not expect Finns i the streets and shops to be too eager to speak it, but Finnish is a great langauge to learn although very hard

Final comments
Finland is not as expensive as people reckons cos students rents and meals at uni are cheap and about the weather..it's very cold but if u've got good clothes u'll cope. I think Finland is as exotic as it gets in Europe , it's such a differentculture and way of life, it's worth giving it a try!

Prima night club, fontana cafe , don't miss the biggest student night on May 1st and the over night cruises to sweden!!

because accomodation on campus id more expensive and definitely not as nice , the only downside of where I lived is that it was a bit far from uni

the rent is cheap , all bills included and the flats are comfortable and top quality, I got to share with 2 flatmates and all our neighbours were students as well so great party atmosphere !
