The rooms were not all equiped with telephones and internet hookup was sparse. The dorms were within biking distance from most of the sights in the city.

Si j'avais su

Make sure you buy a bike if you live in Freiburg. Plan on writing a lot of letters, that will help with homesickness and cost of telephone bills. Be open-minded and do as much as you can!

I love this university. I recommend it to anyone interested in German culture, hiking, outdoor activities, meeting people from all over the world and archi tecture.
