England is compared to Austria by far more expensive, but that is ok - you just have to consider carefully what to buy. I used Ryanair, a low cost airline, to fly to Scotland and Ireland and also back home.

I could have saved a lot of money if I knew from the beginning that in Uxbridge, a town near the campus, there are a lot of cheap shops for all the things you need for the daily life.

I broke my leg 3 weeks after I arrived. I could only go to the university by taxi. The university paid that for me. I'm really greatfull.
